About

Main PhotoMystery writer Connie Campbell Berry was born in Racine, Wisconsin, to second-generation immigrants from Scandinavia and the British Isles.

Like her main character, Connie grew up in the world of fine antiques. Her parents, unrepentant antique fanatics, eventually opened a shop, not because they liked selling antiques so much but because they needed a plausible excuse to continue buying them.

Connie has degrees in English from DePauw University and The Ohio State University. She also studied at the University of Freiburg in southern Germany and St. Clare’s College in Oxford, England. A self-confessed Anglophile, Connie’s Antique Mystery series is set in the UK. She lives in Ohio with her husband, Bob, and adorable Shih Tzu, Millie. They have two grown sons. Besides writing, Connie loves foreign travel, antiques, reading, knitting, and cute animals.

Her debut novel, A Curiously Embellished Casket (working title) is scheduled for publication in April of 2019.

  1. I was just reading your post about being a guest blogger for Laurence O’Bryan. How cool is that? WOW….I will have to click on his link and check it out. Please keep us posted so we can ready your blog on his page. I am also very excited to hear you are attending “Malice Domestic” (love that name!) this weekend. What a great and fun opportunity. I hope you will be able to meet and talk with some of your favorite authors!
